Mindset Habit 1 – Get up Early
By getting up early it will set the tone of your day. Benefits of getting up early are as follows: Enhances your productivity, Better concentration (by being able to focus on your goals and/or task without being interrupted), have time to exercise (exercising boost moods, provides energy)
Mindset Habit 2 – Visualization
Several studies have shown that the brain doesn’t differentiate between a real memory and an imagined (visualized) one. This means that when you imagine something vividly and with emotion, your brain chemistry changes as though the experience was real, and your mind records it as a real memory.
That is why Professional & High-Level Amateur athletes have been performing visualization for decades. You can develop and reinforce real skills by visualizing yourself practicing them. When we visualize an action, the same regions of the brain are stimulated as when we perform it and the same neural networks are created. So, by them taking the action and then visualizing themselves doing it, it is reinforcement in their mind.
Here are some other ways visualization can help you: improve your performance, increase focus, boost confidence, and help you overcome nervousness.
Mindset Habit 3 – Talk to yourself
I know we all have heard or been told, that people who talk to themselves are crazy. Hold on and listen to the benefits of talking to yourself and then determine if you don’t care if they think you crazy.
Be repeating something you are looking for, like your keys or something at the supermarket aloud for example, will spark memory recall of known objects, making them more tangible and likely to stick out to you.
In today’s busy world, we have a million thoughts running through our heads always. Our thoughts get jumbled up in our minds and can become incredibly overwhelming if left unchecked. Talking through your thoughts, helps you prioritize the “big things” affecting you. It also helps us realize the “small stuff” is insignificant. By talking out your thoughts, your able to make much more sense of the world around you.
Psychologist Linda Sapadin reports that saying your goals out loud “focuses your attention, reinforces the message, controls your runaway emotions and screens out distractions.”
Those that talk to themselves look inward when they need help solving a problem.
By talking to yourself, you will listen to your inner voice, and discover what it is you truly want to get out an experience.
Simply put, those that spend the time talking and listening to themselves, know themselves best.
Mindset Habit 4 – Daily Affirmations
If used consistently, studies found that positive affirmations can help individuals maintain a positive self-view and that threats to perceived self-competence are met with resistance. When threatened, self-affirmations can restore self-competence by allowing individuals to reflect on sources of self-worth such as core values
Studies have found that writing self-affirmations from the perspective of your core values are more far more effective. Write about the things that you value and turn them into an affirmation.
For example, if you value your friends and family, you could affirm something like:
My friends and family are a source of joy in my life and help me when I am down.
Word of caution: Do not put affirmations to things you do not believe. Like I’m a magnet to money. If you do not believe that, then it will make you feel worse, reminding you that you do not have money coming in. This is just an example.
Mindset Habit 5 – Meditation
During meditation, you focus your attention and eliminate the stream of jumbled thoughts that may be crowding your mind and causing stress. This process may result in enhanced physical and emotional well-being.
meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit both your emotional well-being and your overall health.
And these benefits don’t end when your meditation session ends. Meditation can help carry you more calmly through your day
When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress.
The emotional benefits of meditation can include:
- Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
- Building skills to manage your stress
- Increasing self-awareness

- Increasing imagination and creativity

Mindset Habit 6 – Commit to a daily mindset practice
Whether it’s visualization, talking to yourself, affirmations or praying and meditating on a daily basis, creating a sacred mindset practice is key in keeping your mind set for success. The inner work we do daily is really all about managing life’s ups and downs and choosing to respond rather than react to it. When you commit to the habit of keeping your inner world strong, you’ll find you will not only achieve your desires with more ease and speed, but your triggers, challenges, and struggles will be fewer and far between.
